Do you support this bill? I Don’t.

11.16.11, Congress holds hearings on the first American Internet censorship system. If it passes, the Internet and free speech will never be the same. [american censorship]

On Wednesday Jan. 18th thousands of sites will go dark to protest SOPA & PIPA, two US bills racing through Congress that threaten prosperity, online security, and freedom of expression.

Do you play a musical instrument? For how long?

I used to sing and dance when i was in k-3, and we would have recitals in the neighboring city. There was some music class in school 4-7, but I think they cut the program and i stopped as well. Although, there were times i would sing 90’s country songs. i don’t really enjoy humming. To this day if i hear people humming i get the guilts. If my mother hums i tell her to stfu.

My singing and dancing
I sang All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth in a solo, probably around 6y. I blocked that out, probably because of the stage fright (if i had any then – i have too much now).

I danced with with my groups, in costume.

edited: will add pics if found

I tried learning piano on my own when i was little because I admired my (P) Grandmother’s ability. It only lasted a couple days, off and on, never learned how to read the sheets or picked up the starter book again (lost that book). I do have a keyboard with retro multiplay features. I can play Mary had a Little Lamb. I don’t know if it’s the right notes but i do a verse very well. recently i got some new books from mom’s friends (who i should thank at some point).

don’t know when i’ll start again

What did you do before computers/Internet?

1980s
too young to know about it…k-3
had friends, played outside

1990s **
What i did before: watch TV, read, get homework done…less late, had no chores, go outside: bugs and biking/walking, listen to country music, hanging with the pets.
TV: Saturday CBS, reruns of those, PBS – Bill Nye, Ghostwriter, Magic School Bus, TVO – Art Attack

<<4-7:
They just added computers to my school. There was no internet, I just saw the games and files on floppy disks. I don’t remember the brand, maybe Apple. They were the beige, bulky models. They did add more modern computers later, but i didn’t use them.

8-12>>:
I had access during high school in the library and a few classes. The beginning of my net addiction started with X Files :). No longer objectifying actors… much. Some homework assignments were easier to research and write up.

What kind of music have you been listening to recently?

yay! Vids for Eureka

the scenes fit well with the song – not mine.

synch-up mash-up

Youtube synch-up is something i just came up with but been doing for years. Basically, if fandom ships are lacking enough vids, or i think a vid flow could work with another song, i put them side to side and play, hoping that the time matches well.

I have no skills or account to put them together in my own vid, so they just lay open till i need a fix. this one is the best I’ve found since years. Thing is, 90’s country is more my speed (or a song i actually know).

for shippers of the Zane/Jo – Eureka fandom
